Hope4LakeCounty began as a community festival designed to bring friends and families together through music in honor of Hope Melendez.

Hope loved house music and appreciated its vibes. She had the idea of an event based on house music that would serve as a commumity benefit. Planning was underway but she passed away in her sleep at 52 years young before the event came to fruition. Her friends and family wanted to honor her efforts and the first Hope Fest was born. It featured top local dj’s and musical artists who donated their sets in her memory. 

The first annual “HopeFest” took place in 2022 year and it has been growning ever since. The gatherings are huge and expanded to include food trucks, vendors and diabetes care and prevention.  

Today, Hope4LakeCounty is an organization that works year around and focuses on family, health education and community, all dedicated in her honor.
